Subject: ChlamydiaQUESTION: I was just wondering if there was a way to get Chlamydia other then sex, (like getting HIV though needle sharing) also how long would it take after infection for Chlamydia to show up on a test? Thank you! REPLY: Chlamydia is pretty well restricted to transmission through sexual activity, although it is possible to get chlamydia in the eye from touching infected genitals then touching the eyes. The test is a smear, and I have no idea how long it takes to appear. I'd recommend calling your local sexual health clinic. - KT . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
