Advice Column Question & Answer

Subject: Testicle Question

QUESTION:

My man and I were in the act and I had my hand on his testicals. Well, at the tip of one of them, I felt a little hard spot. It was a little bump. So I stopped, and confronted him about it. He said it did not hurt, itch, or anything. So then later in the night, he showed me them again. The bump was gone. Another time it came back, but after he ejaculates it is gone. It does not always happen. Actually, it happens rarely, and only twice so far. He said if it bothered him, or me again then he would see a dr. (But if it doesnt come back, then it should be OK.) I fear any type of cancer. What else could it be?

REPLY:

I'm wondering if you are just feeling the tube that connects to the testicles, which would be firm during arousal? But, you know, I'm with you on this cancer thing, and rather than guess about something so important, I'd suggest he ask his doctor about it. It's probably fine, but no harm in checking it out. It will also reassure you so it doesn't remain the focus of your concern.
