Subject: Farting After SexQUESTION: Hi I have a question.. I have a problem with farting during/after sex,, doggystyle I believe.. well anyways I only had actual intercourse once.. Im just wondering if thats the reason, and if I should be embarassed... it is quite embarassing lol.. please help me if there is anything I can do to avoid it too thank you REPLY: Vaginal farts are a normal part of intercourse, and the only way to avoid them is by trying different positions. They are caused by the penis (or dildo) pushing air under pressure into the vagina while thrusting. The air has nowhere to go but back out the way it came in. You can find different positions where it happens less often, but generally, all you can do is laugh about it.
