Subject: Cleaning Before Anal SexQUESTION: Should I be doing enemas before anal sex? REPLY: I think enemas and supositories are really last resort things and I don't recommend them. They can throw off your natural balance there and you may find, if you're doing enemas later, that you will experience bowel movement problems. I think having a bowel movement before anal sex is a good idea and making sure your partner uses a condom - not only for disease issues, but just because clean up is that much easier.
